APL 1452 Da milagrosa Imagem de N. Senhora dos Enfermos, no destrito da Freguesia do Almarge

Tradition has it that the image disappeared from the parish of Almarge to be found on the trunk of a pine tree. But the author suspects that the image was first found on the pine tree. And that it then was taken to the church of Almarge, to disappear and be found on the pine where it would have been first seen. A chapel was built near the site for her.
